Job Overview:
The Hardwood Flooring Sales Associate will be responsible for selling hardwood flooring products and services to clients in a retail environment. This position will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, educating clients on products and services, and meeting sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, greeting them upon arrival, and guiding them through the sales process
• Educate clients on hardwood flooring products and services, including installation, maintenance, and repair
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, building a loyal customer base and generating repeat business
• Meet and exceed sales goals, including monthly, quarterly, and yearly targets
• Maintain accurate records of sales, including client information, products sold, and pricing
• Collaborate with other sales associates to ensure the showroom is well-stocked and presentable
• Attend trade shows and industry events to stay up-to-date on trends and new products
• Assist with showroom organization and maintenance
• Other tasks as assigned by the Sales Manager

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the flooring industry
• Knowledge of hardwood flooring products, installation methods, and maintenance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service skills and a passion for helping clients
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer programs
• Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed

• Ability to spend extended periods of time standing and walking
• Ability to lift and move flooring samples and displays up to 50 pounds
